Our annual, under 5s Halloween party in the woods. There’s going to be themed arts and crafts, potion making, our favourite witchy story, Room on the Broom, with an added campfire this year. Weather permitting, we’ll have our hot chocolate and spooky snacks around the campfire. Fancy dress highly recommended!
When: Friday 25th October, 2019 @ 10.30-12 noon
Where: Dacres Woods Nature Reserve, Dacres Road, Forest Hill. The entrance to the reserve is on Honeyfield Mews. PLEASE NOTE that parking isn’t permitted on Honeyfield Mews, as it’s for residents only, but there’s plenty on Dacres Road.
About the Reserve: Dacres Wood is a beautiful little reserve, adjacent to the railway line. It has a woodland, meadow and a pond, teaming with wildlife. On quiet afternoons you might hear the woodpeckers and on very special occasions the sparrow hawk might be spotted flying in the sky overhead, or even perched atop an old oak tree. It’s the perfect place for an adventure!
Cost: £10 per child, siblings under 18 months don’t pay. This session is for children 5 and under, though older siblings are welcome to join us too. Contact us if you have any queries: firstname.lastname@example.org
